George Dalton Named BIZremedies Chairman

Former Fiserv Inc. CEO George Dalton has accepted the position of chairman of the board at BIZremedies, a Milwaukee-area online business development and consulting service designed to help businesses grow.

Dalton is the founder of three businesses dating back to his role as a co-founder of Midland National Bank in Milwaukee in 1964. From there, he was named to create and operate Midland Data Processing, which eventually acquired and relaunched as Fiserv, of Brookfield, in 1984. Upon his retirement from Fiserv in 2000, he founded Call Solutions and changed its name to NOVO 1 Inc. He recently sold that firm.

“George is a perfect chairman of the board for BIZremedies,” said Susan Wehrley, CEO of BIZremedies. "His past success in building a business and his many business connections will be a great advantage to BIZremedies. His business expertise will be an asset to many.”

BIZremedies plans to launch its new BIZremedies.com in April with an online five-step strategic leadership and employee engagement system, a qualified consultant course and match program, and a business best practices library. The two-year-old company currently is focusing its business development in Wisconsin, but plans to become a nationally known business resource site, a news release said.
