Consultant Talent Contest gets Expert Advice in front of Business Decision-makers!

While LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter are getting professionals networking on the internet, BIZremedies is using the social media format to showcase consultants to businesses with their Consultant Talent Contest so experts can display their best advice to help businesses grow, and get a following as a result. The BIZremedies Consultant Talent Contest runs from Monday, July 18 through Monday, August 15, 2011 and showcases the contestants in their own private online library, full of video, articles and blogs they entered to display their best advice for success and growth in this economy. The winner, which will be chosen Friday, August 19, will get to produce a one-hour video and be marketed on BIZremedies for 3-months, all at the expense of BIZremedies. Other prizes are included in the prize package and listed on www.BIZremedies.com, along with the instructions on how to enter the contest.

Viewers can participate in the contest, much like a Facebook conversation, where they can view the contestant’s online library of best practices and give it thumbs up and comment on the advice. This contest format gives consultants a chance to stand out as an expert in their field and be discovered by businesses. Contestants will be judged in part by the popularity of their following and the continual dialogue and advice given throughout the contest.
To ensure the consultants in the contest are legitimate experts and follow a professional consultant standard, BIZremedies first has the contestants go through their Qualified Consultant Program. To offset the cost of the course and to promote the Consultant Talent Contest, BIZremedies is including a free video session for each of the contestants who complete the Qualified Consultant program. The video-taping session is 45-minutes long and comes with a coaching packet filled with advice for effective public speaking and video-taping. The video session then produces 3 separate videos for the contestant: a 60-second introduction video on the consultant, their business and their expertise; and two 1-2 minutes videos on their best advice for success in this economy, which is then used for the contest.

BIZremedies is defining a consultant as anyone who has expert advice to give businesses and employees, for the benefit of their growth and success. A list of possible consultant categories is listed under BIZremedies Best Practices Hub, where the consultant’s information will eventually be posted in an online library for businesses and their employees to access, at no charge.
